Your uploaded solar proposal and information you provide, including contact details, postcode, buying timeframe and the quote/system details extracted from your proposal.
To provide the quote-check service you request, operate the pilot, respond to you, seek an alternative when you ask us to, present offers and arrange an introduction only when you request one.
When you request an alternative, participating installers may initially receive an anonymised opportunity containing your broad postcode area, current quoted price, system specification and timeframe. They do not initially receive your name, email, mobile, full postcode, original installer identity or uploaded proposal. If you later request an introduction to a specific installer, SecondSet may share the contact details needed to make that introduction.
SecondSet may have a commercial relationship with participating installers and may receive a fee if an introduction or installation proceeds. This does not require you to accept an alternative.
SecondSet uses technology providers to host the service, store information and analyse uploaded proposals. The final production notice must identify the relevant providers/categories and explain any applicable international-transfer safeguards.
The operator must document the appropriate UK GDPR lawful basis for each processing purpose and insert it here before public launch. The production notice must also state defined retention periods and explain applicable rights, including access, correction, deletion/restriction where applicable, objection where applicable, withdrawal of consent where consent is relied on, and the right to complain to the ICO.
